A new arrival at The Station House in 2004 was ‘OSCAR’, a MK1 railway carriage built in Derby in 1962, which has been refurbished to a very high standard. 
Providing self-catering accommodation, the carriage is fully air-conditioned and heated and has one double en-suite bedroom, one twin-bedded room, one bunk room, and a separate shower room and toilet with shaver point. 
 
The lounge/dining area is nineteen feet long and has a widescreen TV with a DVD/CD player. 
 
There is a separate kitchen with storage cupboards, electric cooker, fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher. 
 
Tea towels, cleaning materials, store cupboard basics, hand and bath towels as well as all bed linen is provided.

‘OSCAR’ is situated alongside the old platform at the end of the garden, and is set in a secluded location a short distance from the Station House, and is completely private and not over-looked. 
 
There is a garden table and chairs for outdoor dining during the warmer months, as well as a permanent barbecue. 
 
There are also plentiful parking facilities.

January to Easter or November & December 
3 nights – £450 
4 nights – £500 
7 nights – £700 
7 nights are Friday to Thursday 
3 & 4 night breaks are available by arrangement but are not available during July and August or over Christmas and New Year.
